Air Mauritius reports EUR12m operating profit in 3QFY2016

Air Mauritius revenue up 6% - financial highlights for three months ended 31-Dec-2015:

  • Operating revenue: EUR131.1 million, +5.9% year-on-year;
  • Operating costs: EUR121.2 million, -3.3%;
  • Operating profit: EUR12.1 million, compared to a loss of EUR217,000 in p-c-p;
  • Net profit: EUR11.0 million, compared to a loss of EUR2.5 million in p-c-p;
  • Passenger numbers: 418,188, +11.5%;
  • Passenger load factor: 80.6%, +7.5 ppts;
  • Total assets: EUR354.6 million;
  • Cash and short-term deposits: EUR53.6 million;
