Air Malta revenue up 3% - financial highlights for 12 months ended 31-Mar-2012:

  • Revenue: EUR214 million, +2.9% year-on-year;
    • Operating profit: EUR244 million, +0.8%;
      • Fuel: EUR66 million, +26.9%;
      • Labour: EUR43 million, -8.5%;
    • Operating profit (loss): (EUR30 million), compared to a loss of EUR34 million in p-c-p;
    • Passenger numbers: 1.8 million, -3.3%;
    • Load factor: 75.2%, +2.0 ppts;
    • Yield: EUR105, +5.0%;
  • FY2013 forecast:
    • Revenue: EUR208 million, -2.8%;
    • Operating costs: EUR223 million, -8.6%;
