Air Lease Corp: Commercial aircraft fleet to be 40% leased by 2020

Air Lease Corp Chairman and CEO Steven Udvar-Hazy forecast the proportion of the global commercial aircraft fleet on lease will increase from 34% to 40% by 2020 (MarketWatch, 12-May-2011). The world commercial aircraft fleet is expected to expand from 19,500 to 25,000 aircraft by 2020.
