Air India seeks compensation for delayed B787 deliveries

Air India is reportedly in negotiation with Boeing for compensation over delayed B787 deliveries with the carrier reportedly requesting the manufacturer to pay its compensation as an upfront cash payment (mydigitalfc, 20-Feb-2011). Air India and Boeing will reportedly discuss the matter today (21-Feb-2011). It has been reported that the compensation amount is close to USD840 million.
