Air India revenue up a modest 3%, losses narrow in Dec-2009 quarter

Air India revenue up a modest 3% - financial/traffic highlights for the three months ended 31-Dec-2009:

  • Revenue: USD840.0 million, +3.0% year-on-year;
  • Operating profit (loss): (USD188.5 million), compared to a loss of USD251.3 million in the previous corresponding period;
  • Net profit (loss): (USD321.4 million), compared to a loss of USD355.9 million in the previous corresponding period;
  • Passenger numbers: 3.2 million, +24.8%;
