Air France-KLM may split widebody order between Airbus and Boeing

Air France-KLM reportedly intends to split an order for up to 100 widebodies between Airbus and Boeing (AFP, 09-Jun-2011). The carrier intends to use the new aircraft to replace older MD-11 and A340 aircraft. The order is expected to be announced at this month's Paris Air Show. French parlimentary members have called for the carrier to select Airbus aircraft over Boeing. The carrier is considering the B787 and A350.
