Air China pax numbers and pax load factor up in Jan-2012, cargo volume down 29%

Air China reports (15-Feb-2012) the following traffic highlights in Jan-2012:

  • Passenger numbers: 4.1 million, +5.7% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: 3.3 million, +5.1%;
    • International: 561,300, +4.8%;
    • Regional: 160,100, +25.5%;
  • Passenger load factor: 79.7%, +1.1 ppts;
    • Domestic: 81.4%, +1.5 ppts;
    • International: 77.5%, +0.4 ppt;
    • Regional: 76.7%, +1.6 ppts;
  • Cargo volume: 73,330 tonnes, -28.5%;
