Air China may issue USD1.5bn in bonds in 2011: chairman

Air China Chairman Kong Dong stated the carrier is likely to issue CNY10 billion (USD1.5 billion) worth of bonds in 2011 to expand its fleet (Reuters, 06-Mar-2011). "The size of the offering is around 10 billion yuan, but it all depends on our actual cash demand," Mr Kong stated. Mr Kong did not elaborate on financial terms of the offering.
