Air China, China Eastern and China Southern pushed to merge cargo operations

Chinese Government is reportedly pushing Air China, China Eastern Airlines and China Southern Airlines to merge their cargo operations in a bid to reclaim cargo traffic which is dominated by foreign carriers such as Lufthansa and Air France (Reuters, 25-May-2010).
