Air China's first Boeing 787-9 enters service

Air China confirmed (26-May-2016) its first Boeing 787-9 aircraft commenced inaugural operation on 26-May-2016, serving Beijing-Chengdu route. As previously reported, the aircraft will serve select services on Beijing-Shanghai Hongqiao and Beijing-Guangzhou routes from 01-Jun-2016. The carrier's 787-9 fleet will also enter international operations from 15-Jul-2015, operating Sanya-Beijing-Frankfurt route initially, followed by Beijing-Rome from 01-Aug-2016.
