Air Busan back in the black due to international expansion

Air Busan reported revenue reached USD9.6 million with an operating profit of USD1.2 million in Apr-2010 reflecting the launch of Fukuoka and Osaka services (AirNews.cn, 14-May-2010). Air Busan is scheduled to launch services from Busan to Tokyo Narita in 2H2010. The carrier also reported the following financial highlights for the three months ended 31-Mar-2010:

• Revenue: USD19.7 million*, n/a year-on-year;

• Passenger numbers: 434,435.
