Air Austral announces successful turnaround with EUR9.3m operating profit in 1HFY2014

Air Austral revenue down 2% - financial highlights for six months ended 30-Sep-2013:

  • Revenue: EUR186.2 million, -2% year-on-year;
    • Passenger: EUR154.6 million, -6%;
    • Freight and mail: EUR16.3 million, +3%;
  • Net operating costs: EUR76.9 million, -16%;
  • Operating profit: EUR9.3 million, compared to a loss of EUR19.7 million in p-c-p;
  • Passenger numbers: 507,203, +3%;
