Air Algerie to order eight 787-8s, five 737-800s and three A330-200s

Air Algerie, on its official Facebook page, stated (11-Feb-2013) it will order 16 new aircraft, as follows:

  • Eight Boeing 787-8s to replace its 767-300ERs and strengthen long-haul routes;
  • Five 737-800NGs to strengthen domestic and regional routes;
  • Three A330-200 to cover future routes Johannesburg, New York, Sao Paulo and Shanghai.
