Aeroporti di Roma parent reports surge in EBITDA in 1Q2010

Italy's Gemina, owner of Aeroporti di Roma, revenue up 6.9% - financial highlights for the three months ended 31-Mar-2010:

  • Revenue: EUR126.8 million, +6.9% year-on-year;
    • Aeroporti di Roma: EUR126.4 million, +7.8%;
      • Aeronautical: EUR64.9 million, n/a;
      • Non-aeronautical: EUR61.5 million, n/a;
  • EBITDA: EUR52.9 million, +185.9%;
  • EBIT: EUR15.6 million, compared to a loss of EUR18.5 million in the previous corresponding period;
  • Net profit (loss): (EUR9.0 million), compared to a loss of EUR32.1 million in the previous corresponding period;
  • Passenger numbers: 8.3 million, +7.5%;
  • Cargo volume: 38,779 tonnes, +31.7%;
  • Aircraft movements: 87,164, -1.2%. [more]
