Aer Lingus COO resigns

Aer Lingus announced (19-Jan-2010) Deputy CEO and COO, Niall Walsh, will leave the company with immediate effect to pursue other interests. CEO, Christoph Mueller, will assume responsibility for the duties of COO for a temporary period, while Chief Engineer, Fergus Wilson, will resume executive responsibilities and will assist the CEO in this task. The role of Deputy CEO will be discontinued. Aer Lingus will immediately commence an external search for a new COO. [more]
