ACI: Europe's airport traffic returns to being a two-speed market in Jul-2016

ACI Europe reported (12-Sep-2016) passenger traffic across European airports increased 3.9% year-on-year in Jul-2016, driven primarily by EU airports, which reported a "strong" growth of 6.8% while non-EU airports reported a 5.5% decline, marking the third consecutive month of decline. The decline was essentially due to declines in Turkey (-15.3%) and Russia (-5%). Cargo traffic across European airports increased 2.3%, with EU airports recording a 1.3% growth and non-EU airports recording a 7.3% decline.
