AAPA airlines passenger numbers up 8% in Jan-2011

Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) reports (24-Feb-2011) the following international traffic highlights for its member airlines in Jan-2011:

• Passenger numbers: 16.1 million, +8% year-on-year;
• Passenger load factor: 78.5%, -0.9 ppt;
• Cargo traffic (FTKs): +6.5%;
• Cargo load factor: 65.7%, -1.7 ppts. [more]

AAPA: "Asia Pacific carriers are projecting further growth in aviation markets this year, with the introduction of new services and frequencies in the coming months.
