A320neo success to put Airbus beyond 1000 orders in 2011
EADS forecast Airbus would sign orders for more than 1000 aircraft in 2011, mostly based on the success of the A320neo programme (Reuters, 29-Jul-2011). Airbus has firm orders and commitments for almost 1200 A320neo aircraft since the programme was launched in Dec-2010.
