Changsha Airport’s Master Plan announced
China's Changsha Huanghua International Airport announced details of its 2009 - 2040 Master Plan (Hunan Daily, 12-Dec-2009). According to the plan, the airport will increase its number of runways form one to four. The second 3,800 m runway is expected to commence construction in 2010. The airport forecasts it will handle 62 million passengers, 1.8 million tonnes of cargo and 502,000 aircraft movements p/a in 2040.
