Aeroflot profit up 18.5% in 2014

Aeroflot reported (03-Feb-2015) the following financial highlights in Oct-2014, according to Russian Accounting Standards:

  • Revenue: RUB240.4 billion (EUR3.16 billion) ,+16.5% year-on-year;
  • Cost of sales: RUB194.4 billion (EUR2.56 billion), +17.4%;
  • Gross profit: RUB45.9 billion (EUR603.8 million), +12.7%;
  • Net profit: RUB13.1 billion (EUR175.4 million), +18.5%;
  • Long-term liabilities: RUB14.1 billion (EUR189.0 million), -2.6%;
  • Current debt: RUB13.3 billion (EUR177.5 million);
  • Total assets: RUB145.9 billion (EUR1.95 billion), +34%.

Growth in cost of sales is attributed to the depreciation of the Russian rouble, as well as costs relating to expansion of fleet and operations. Wages to key management personnel amounted to RUB1.5 billion (EUR20 million) in 2014. [more - original PR - Russian] [more - original PR - English]
