As part of the Tiger Airways Group, Mandala Airlines today announce its transformation into "Tigerair Mandala' (RI)in conjunction to Tiger Airways brand refresh to Tigerair.By operating under the new brand name, the airlines also adopted a new logo that represents warmth, passion and genuineness.

Paul Rombeek, President Director of Tigerair Mandala said that, "In this rebranding process, the company"s name remains unchanged, PT. Mandala Airlines, nevertheless our brand namehas changed to Tigerair Mandala, as we are proud of our Indonesian Mandala heritage but we also want to leverage many aspects from the TigerairGroup."

The new face of Tigerair Mandala has a fresh and upbeat look that embodies its new brand personality. The striped aircraft tail that used to be the main element of Tigerair Mandala"s logo has made way for contemporary grey rounded font typography, with blushing orange accents and an orange smile-looking tail

"We embrace the simple belief that travel is about bringing people closer to their dreams and about making great experiences and memories. What we offer to our customers are great value and seamless experience with a "can-do" attitude.We would like to be more involved in our customers" journey by providing a safe, on-time, comfortable and great travel experience with the best fare," added Mr. Rombeek.

The change is also occurring to other airlines under the Tigerair Group, namely Tiger Airways to Tigerair (TR), Tiger Australia to Tigerair Australia (TT) and SEAIR to Tigerair Philippines (DG), to signify synergy and greater connection between airlines. Moving forward, TigerairGroup will be more solid in its operation and in offering more extensive reach and services to the passengers.

Tigerair Mandala"s brand refresh in the airports, ticketing offices, and other customer touch points will also be more apparent in the upcoming days. The online booking engine will also be centralized and shifted from www.tigerairways.com to www.tigerair.com. Customers can still book their ticket online, through the call center (+6221-2939 6688), airport ticketing offices (ATO) and city ticketing offices (CTO) in a number of cities in Indonesia, and also through travel agents all across Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
