21-Dec-2016 As we go out for the annual Boeing holiday break, it's only fitting that 2016 ends with yet another big milestone. This week, we delivered the 500th 787.

The 787-8 for Avianca marks the fastest to 500 deliveries of any twin-aisle airplane in history. The Dreamliner fleet has now grown to include 48 operators, who have collectively flown 696,000 revenue flights, carrying 133 million passengers over 1.7 billion revenue miles.

Looking ahead to 2017, we have a lot on our plate. But I look forward to all of the challenges and opportunities still ahead. My best to all of you for a wonderful and safe holiday season.
