B/E Aerospace (Nasdaq:BEAV), the world's leading manufacturer of aircraft cabin interior products and the world's leading provider of aerospace fasteners, consumables and logistics services, today announced the first delivery by Boeing to Delta Air Lines of a Boeing Next-Generation 737-900ER (Extended Range) airplane. The airplane is configured with the B/E Aerospace modular advanced lavatory system as well as B/E Aerospace seating, lighting, oxygen systems and food and beverage, preparation and storage equipment. The airplane is the first of 100 newly configured 737-900ER's that Delta has on order.

"We are also particularly pleased that this airplane configuration includes B/E Aerospace seating, lighting, passenger and crew oxygen, and food and beverage preparation and storage equipment as well as B/E's advanced lavatory system which incorporates B/E's toilet, lavatory oxygen, and lavatory lighting"

B/E Aerospace is the exclusive manufacturer of modular lavatory systems for Boeing's 737 family of airplanes, as well as the 737 MAX which is expected to enter service later this decade. The lavatory incorporates B/E's patent pending Spacewall® technology, which frees up floor space in the cabin, creating the opportunity to add up to six incremental passenger seats per airplane. In addition, the lavatory integrates the following B/E Aerospace systems: Aircraft Ecosystems agile™ advanced vacuum toilet, lavatory lighting, and Safe Lav CDS™ oxygen.

The Delta 737-900ER airplane also features the Boeing Sky Interior, which includes the B/E Aerospace advanced LED cabin interior lighting system. In addition, this airplane is configured with the following B/E Aerospace products: Pinnacle® main cabin seating, a suite of food and beverage preparation and storage equipment, and crew and passenger oxygen systems.

Amin J. Khoury, Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of B/E Aerospace stated, "We are very pleased that the newly configured Boeing 737-900ER has been delivered to Delta Air Lines. This configuration contains numerous B/E Aerospace systems and products including our lavatory system which increases cabin floor space resulting in increased passenger placements while providing an improved look, feel, and comfort as well as more useable space inside the lavatory. Additionally, through the design of the lavatory interior and antimicrobial coatings on the interior surfaces, the lavatory is cleaner and more hygienic.

"We are also particularly pleased that this airplane configuration includes B/E Aerospace seating, lighting, passenger and crew oxygen, and food and beverage preparation and storage equipment as well as B/E's advanced lavatory system which incorporates B/E's toilet, lavatory oxygen, and lavatory lighting," Mr. Khoury concluded.
