16-Aug-2013 Grupo Aeromexico S.A.B. de C.V. ("Aeromexico") (BMV: AEROMEX), the largest global airline in Mexico, today announced the delivery of its new Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.

Andrés Conesa, Aeromexico's CEO commented, "Aeromexico's first Boeing 787 Dreamliner represents a milestone in Mexican aviation history. Our customers already benefit from the world-class service that distinguishes Aeromexico, but they will now also be flying the most modern aircraft ever built."

The airline will operate a total of 19 Dreamliners, including 10 787-9 models ordered in 2012. By November 2013, Aeromexico expects to have three B787s fully incorporated to its fleet and covering all flights to Narita and to Paris, with daily frequencies to JFK International Airport in New York.

The 787 Dreamliner is made of durable composites and features a suite of system, engine and aerodynamic advancements to ensure extraordinary fuel efficiency; Dreamliners use 20 percent less fuel than today's similarly sized aircraft. Passengers will also enjoy improved features on the 787 such as a roomier cabin with enhanced technology and comfort including a wider pitch, touch screen entertainment systems on every seat and larger windows, among other exciting innovations.
