Bombardier Aerospace has recently started the construction of a brand new factory, located close to its current facilities in the vicinity of the airport in Mirabel, Quebec. The plant will cover an area of nearly 667,000 square feet and will be entirely dedicated to the assembly of the CSeries family of aircraft. This expansion, which will include a new array of paint, a site dedicated to our partner Pratt & Whitney, new infrastructures and many other improvements, will be equipped with the latest production and assembly technologies.

The construction of the new site should be completed by mid-2014 and will allow Bombardier to double the size of its industrial complex in Mirabel, going from 790,000 square feet to 1.5 million.
