Xiamen Airlines seeks to grow fleet

Premium Analysis

Xiamen Airlines is reportedly in the market for additional B737s and B757s, which indicates no pressure to curtail expansion plans. The carrier has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) to finance three B737NGs, one used B757, one used B737-700 and two flight simulators, and it is understood that this has generated interest from most Chinese banks, which intend putting in a bid.
