Worldwide airport traffic grows strong in first half

During the first six months of 2007, Airports Council International

(ACI) reports worldwide passenger traffic at its 1,643 member airports increased

5.1% to 1.3 billion passengers - in line with its traffic outlook for the full

year, 2007. The rise was led by international traffic, which rose 6.7%, while

domestic traffic was up 4.0%.
