Virgin Blue reports load factor back above 80% in Jul-08 but year-on-year reductions continue


Virgin Blue transported 1.6 million passengers in Jul-08, a 20.7% year-on-year increase. Traffic (RPKs) increased 15.5% year-on-year, on an 18.2% year-on-year capacity (ASKs) increase, resulting in a load factor reduction of 1.9 ppts to 82.2%.
