Turkish Airlines' traffic up 10% in first five months

Shares in Turkish Airlines gained 0.2% on Friday as the carrier revealed its passenger numbers for the first five months of 2011 have risen 10.4% year-on-year to 12 million.

The airline's load factor fell by 2.9 ppts to 68.8% in the period.

Most European airline stocks fell on Friday, reflecting weaker equity market sentiment. Aer Lingus dropped 3.7% and Finnair 2.2%.
