South Korean Park Air Systems to upgrade Gimpo ATC system

Premium Analysis

South Korea is expanding its ongoing relationship with Northrop Grumman's Park Air Systems, awarding the company a contract to supply a ground-to-air radio communications system and a 20-position voice communication control system at Seoul Gimpo airport. Run by the Korean Airports Corporation (KAC), Gimpo is Korea's second busiest airport, after Incheon International Airport, and is expected to handle around 15 million passengers this year, less than half that of Incheon.
