Singapore Airlines confirms order for 20 aircraft from Airbus worth 3.7 bln USD

Singapore (XFN-ASIA) - Singapore Airlines (SIA) said it has

confirmed its order for 20 Airbus A350 XWB-900s, valued at 3.7 bln usd.

It said deliveries for the 20 aircraft from Airbus, whose parent company is the European Aeronautic Defense and Space Co (EADS), are scheduled to start in 2013 through to 2015.
