Shanghai Pudong Airport's PAX increase by 36%; Fraport shares drop 2.1%

China's Shanghai Pudong Airport shares fell by 1.6% to 14.51 yuan on Wednesday (20-Oct-2010). On the same day the authority announced its passenger numbers surged by 36% in Sep-2010.

Shares in Fraport also lost ground on Wednesday and fell 2.1%, underperforming all other stocks in the mid-cap index MDAXI after HSBC downgraded the airport operator to "neutral" from "overweight" and reiterated its share price target of EUR45 (USD61.95). HSBC analysts stated they are "generally still positive on the outlook for the sector, but think it is time to take profits on some of our key overweight calls." Fraport shares have gained 10.2% since Aug-2010.
