SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS (Sabre) - Sabre Airline Solutions,

the global leader of software and services for the airline industry from

planning to execution, today announced that Jeju Air has signed an agreement for the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) solution offered through Sabre's recently established global alliance with Ramco.

Jeju Air, Korea's first regional airline, is a new low-cost carrier based on the Korean island of Cheju. This MRO system will enable the airline to efficiently maintain and engineer its fleet in order to achieve optimal utilization of resources, outstanding performance and a decrease in costs.

"The Ramco MRO System provided by Sabre Airline Solutions will help us reduce operational and overhead costs," said Yong Ho Kim, advisor to the CEO for Jeju Air. "At the same time, the application will enable us to optimize inventory, increase operational performance and aircraft availability, and improve overall business process efficiency. We look forward to the multiple benefits offered by this system."

The Ramco MRO System automates and integrates all aspects of airline maintenance, including line, shop, hangar, engineering and materials management, providing tangible cost reductions while fully complying with regulatory and safety measures. This full Web-architected solution incorporates advanced technologies, such as built-in workflow, digital signature (e-signatures), fax/email interfaces, electronic flight bag (EFB), mobile computing/WAP technologies, bar coding, user reporting tools, graphical information display and integration with automated warehousing carousals. It is SEI-CMM Level 5 certified and provides accurate and detailed projection of direct and indirect maintenance costs. The Ramco MRO System will be implemented in Korea, with support offices in the U.S., Uruguay and India.

"The Ramco MRO System will deliver significant benefits for Jeju Air," said Steve Clampett, president of Airline Products and Services for Sabre Airline Solutions. "By ensuring safety and regulatory compliance as well as minimizing costs and ensuring performance for this low-cost carrier, we can offer Jeju Air significant competitive advantages in the areas of maintenance and engineering that are unbeatable in the marketplace today."

"The Jeju business model is an example of the needs in the industry being satisfied with the combined offering from Sabre Airline Solutions and Ramco's MRO Applications, said Jim Fitzgerald, senior vice president of Ramco's Global Aviation Solutions Group. "The low-cost start up model is prominent on every continent. Every new operator requires the same level of functionality as the legacy carriers. Sabre and Ramco deliver that advanced web-centric functionality in a turn-key low total cost of ownership through the Sabre-Ramco alliance."
