Healthy growth in premium traffic volumes helped drive revenue

growth for the world’s international carriers in 2006. According to IATA,

premium traffic, which accounts for 10.5% of all international travel, rose

4.3% in 2006 – below the 7.4% increase in economy traffic, but a vital

contributor to airline profitability nevertheless.
