Paris Air Show preview – Airbus and Embraer lower, Boeing flat

Analysis

Shares in Airbus' parent, EADS, closed 2.1% lower yesterday. Airbus yesterday denied reports in Le Figaro newspaper yesterday that it was considering recommending the grounding of almost 1,000 A330 and A340 aircraft worldwide in response to the crash almost two weeks ago of an Air France A330-200.

An Airbus A330-200 operated by Qantas offshoot, Jetstar, was involved in an incident last night.

Rival Boeing's shares eased 0.1%, while Embraer was down 0.9%.
