PANSA contracts COMSOFT for radar network upgrade

Polish Air Navigation Service Agency (PANSA) announced plans to upgrade its surveillance infrastructure and enhances its existing radar technology through the installation of a country-wide surveillance network, the Polish RAdar NETwork (PRANET). PANSA has contracted COMSOFT to deploy a total of nine RMCDEs (Radar Message Conversion & Distribution Equipment) central communication nodes. These will form the cornerstones of PRANET, processing and distributing regional, national and international radar data. The will be installed in Gdansk, Poznan, Katowice and two sites in Warsaw.
