OMA traffic down in all areas

Mexican airport operator OMA reported its Mar-2011 traffic fell in all areas, down 7.2% overall. International traffic dropped 16.5% year-on-year, while domestic traffic was down 4.7%, falling at nine of OMA's 13 airports. The Easter holiday travel period occurred in March in 2010 and will take place in April this year, affecting year-on-year comparisons. OMA shares traded steadily on Friday, down just 0.1%.

Shares in Indian infrastructure and power companies GMR and GVK fell 4.1% and 4.2%, respectively. GMR stock is down 5.1% for the year to date, while GVK stock has fallen 29.5%. TAV Holdings shares also lost ground, dropping back 2.8%.

Shares in the Milan-listed Gemina rose 4.6% on Friday. Shares in the Italian company have traded heavily since the announcement last week that Milan airport operator SEA aims to list its shares on the Italian stock exchange towards the end of Oct-2011.

Also trading strong were Korean Airports Corp - up 3.2% - and Australian Infrastructure fund, which gained 2.6%.
