Okay Airways KO’ed by internal wrangling
China's first private carrier, Okay Airways, will suspend services on 15-Dec-08, due to mounting financial problems and management disagreements over strategy. The airline, which launch services in 2005, has applied for (and been granted approval by the CAAC) to suspend services across its 20 domestic passenger routes for one month, as it sorts through some major strategic issues. Okay Air's cargo business, which partners Fedex, will reportedly not be affected by the shut-down.
