Next phase of SES traffic Master Plan adopted

Effective 25-Mar-09, the EU has approved the second 'Single European Sky' (SES II) package of legislation following a vote by the European Parliament. The vote comes after much lobbying from airline and airport operators, as well as the European Transport Commissioner, Antonio Tajani, who had cautioned that if action on SES was not forthcoming, the whole programme could collapse under the weight of political obfuscation and missed deadlines.
