Elsewhere in the Asia Pacific region, Auckland Airport's shares fell 2.1% following the release of its mixed Aug-2009 traffic results:
- Passenger numbers:
- Domestic: 470,024, +3.7% year-on-year;
- International: 577,838, -4.0%;
- Aircraft movements:
- Domestic: 9,299, -7.0%:
- International: 3,628, +6.1%.
In Europe, BAA parent, Ferrovial, lost ground, easing 1.0%, while Fraport dropped 0.9%. Positive performers in the region included the Italian airport operators, Aeroporto di Firenze (+1.8%) and Aeroporto di Venezia (+2.2%).
