Analysis
Kuala Lumpur (XFN-ASIA) - Budget carrier AirAsia Bhd said it
will start flying to China's Shenzhen from two of its hubs - Kuala Lumpur and
Bangkok - from July 15.
"We are very confident that this route will open more opportunities to enhance both of our hubs with greater international links in the region, especially with Shenzhen being the gateway to Southern China and Hong Kong," said Kathleen Tan, executive vice president for commercial at AirAsia.
Currently, the airline is serving seven daily flights to Macau, from Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu and from Bangkok.
