Malaysia Airlines and OctopusTravel.com Global Partnership

Malaysia Airlines has teamed up with OctopusTravel.com in a global partnership to provide customers hotel, sightseeing and private transfers through the airline's website in fourteen countries around the world.  



An agreement to the effect was signed today between Malaysia Airlines and OctopusTravel. Dato' Abdul Rashid Khan, Commercial Director Malaysia Airlines signed on behalf of the airline whilst OctopusTravel was represented by Mr Max Yousaf, its Global Head of Airline Unit.

Under the agreement, Malaysia Airlines will incorporate the OctopusTravel.com technology on its web sites to provide customers various options for tailored travel solutions.

Each website, co-branded and designed according to the requirements of each of Malaysia Airlines' fourteen existing local markets, features customised languages and payment in local currencies.

OctopusTravel products from now on will be available on Malaysia Airlines' websites in Malaysia, UK, Australia and New Zealand. Similar products will be incorporated on the airline's websites for the remaining countries of South Africa, Switzerland, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, USA and United Arab Emirates, over the next few months.

OctopusTravel will also provide Malaysia Airlines' customers with dedicated call centres to help them with hotel/ground service booking queries as well as for sales by telephone.
