Macquarie withdraws from the sale process for Exeter Airport

SYDNEY (Macquarie Airports) - MAp today notes the decision of South West Airports Consortium (SWAC) to withdraw from the sale process for Exeter Airport.

SWAC is owned jointly by Macquarie Airports Group (MAG) and Ferrovial. Macquarie Airports holds a 64.2% beneficial interest in MAG.

The withdrawal follows the referral of the Exeter Airport sale process by the UK Office of Fair Trading to the UK Competition Commission for renewed investigation potentially lasting for another six months.
