LCC terminal upgrade in North Carolina
SYDNEY (Centre for Asia Pacific) - Raleigh-Durham International Airport Authority announced plans to upgrade Terminal A at North Carolina Raleigh-Durham International Airport, and convert it to an LCC terminal.
Works would include the expansion and consolidation of two separate ticketing areas, security checkpoints and baggage claim areas into one and the installation of a new baggage screening system. Design work for the project is expected to take place in 2007, while the construction would commence after the first phase of a USD350 million upgrade project at Terminal C is completed in 2008.
