JetBlue’s April results indicate cautious approach continues to pay off


JetBlue Airways has reported that passenger numbers increased year-on-year to 2.0 million in Apr-09, a modest 0.8% gain, while RPMs actually declined by 2.7%, indicating that average stage lengths were lower, in line with the carrier’s present philosophy of reducing network capacity on longer-haul domestic routes.
