HSBC appoints new President and CEO in Korea
Mr Cooper is currently Head of Corporate and Investment Banking in Singapore. He first joined HSBC in 1989 in the Group's investment banking unit in London. In 1996, he was transferred to Singapore as Director of Corporate Finance for HSBC Investment Bank Asia Limited. After five years in Singapore, he moved to Thailand in 2001 to take up the post of Head of Corporate and Investment Banking. After 12 months, he was promoted to Deputy CEO of HSBC in Thailand. In January 2004, he moved back to Singapore to his take up his current position.
Mr Pudner has held a variety of posts during his 26 years with the HSBC Group including Head of Corporate and Institutional Banking for HSBC Bank Middle East and Senior Manager Business Strategy for HSBC's European Payments and Cash Management business.
