Analysis

Farnobough (HONEYWELL) - Honeywell (NYSE: HON) today announced that it has signed a 10-year component flight-hour service agreement (MSA) with JetBlue Airways for service on their Airbus A320 aircraft.

The contract calls for Honeywell to supply maintenance services on the suite of Honeywell avionics and the mechanical components for JetBlue's entire fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft.

"The flight-hour program provides for controlled and predictable maintenance costs to JetBlue while minimizing those costs over the term of the agreement," said Marc McGowan, Vice President, Airlines-Americas, in the Air, Honeywell Aerospace. "We have worked closely with JetBlue to deliver world-class quality and reliability for JetBlue and their Airbus A320 fleet."

"JetBlue's success is driven by our high standards of quality and service, and our attention to investing wisely in our fleet and product," said Tom Anderson, JetBlue's Senior Vice President, Supply Chain and LiveTV. "We rely on our business partners to help us succeed, and we are pleased to enter this relationship with Honeywell."
