German airports fight off recession; post encouraging traffic and financial results

Premium Analysis

Germany's Fraport, Hamburg Airport and Dusseldorf Airport have issued their financial statements for the three months ended 31-Mar-2010 or 31-Dec-2009. In Fraport's case revenue and EBITDA have increased and trends are positive, but the story is not quite so good for the others. Traffic does appear to be increasing in 1Q2010 and both the Hamburg and Dusseldorf airports, with a broad range of users, were well placed to ride out the crisis.
