Frontier Airlines - Reports seventh consecutive month of operating profits

Frontier Airlines, which celebrated its fifteenth anniversary this month, reported an operating profit of USD11.7 million in May-2009, the carrier's seventh consecutive month of operating profits, and a marked improvement from the operating loss of USD16.5 million in May-2008. Excluding special items, the operating profit May-2009 was USD7.6 million, compared to an operating loss of USD2.5 million in the previous corresponding period.
