European airline shares mixed on Tuesday; Aeroflot finally sells Nordavia

European airline stocks were mixed yesterday, led lower by Aer Lingus (-2.6%) and higher by flybe (+4.2%).

Aeroflot has finalised its long-awaited agreement to sell Nordavia, which operates mainly in the northwest region of Russia. Russia Today reports the new owner is Norilsk Nickel, which paid USD7 million in cash and assumed USD228 million in debt.
